Together, we raised over $10,000 to help fight cancer, and had a lovely time of it, too! Upcoming Events Bike to Canada Day Festivities in Summerside & Charlottetown! Going to Canada Day Festivities in Charlottetown or Summerside tomorrow? You can safely cycle there thanks to our friends at Bike Friendly Communities and SAFE Summerside will take good care of your bikes at their bike valets while you enjoy the festivities! Starting this Thursday: Little Trailblazers Cycling Program for Kids in Charlottetown! Cycling PEI is bringing its popular HopOn kids cycling course for kids aged 6-13 École François-Buote and Acadian Forest Trails on Thursday evenings from July 3rd to August 21! Learn more and register here. Don Harris Memorial Rides: Saturday, July 12 These classic and beloved annual road rides in southeastern PEI are back for their 15th year! With four routes to choose from, there’s something there for all abilities and inclinations. Just $30 for members, $40 for non-members - lunch included! Ted’s Red Hot Hilly Chilli Graveller: July 13 Ted's Bicycle Studio's Red Hot Hilly Chilli Graveller is coming back for a second year! It's everything that you'd expect in the name. Cardigan Sweater MTB Race: July 20 The Cardigan Sweater (previously known as Tour de Pants), is taking place on the BEAUTIFUL Cardigan River Trails developed by Cycling PEI - boasting some of the finest, flowiest trails in PEI and the Maritimes! Learn more and register here. THE CANADA CUP IS COMING TO PEI AUG 8-10! BE PART OF IT! Cycling PEI is SUPER EXCITED to be hosting the first ever Canada Cup Mountain Bike competitions on PEI at Brookvale August 8-10! The Canada Cup is a national mountain bike series that attracts athletes from across the country and even beyond. Hundreds of people will descend on the mountain bike park at Brookvale Nordic in August for the biggest competition we’ve ever hosted as an organization. There will be short track and cross country races for all ages and abilities, from beginners to international elites! Please get this event on your calendar, because we sure hope you’ll be a part of it as an athlete, a volunteer (we need a lot of volunteers!), or spectator - or all three!
