Cycling for All Membership
$14.99 U18 & 65+/$19.99 18-64
Valid until December 31, 2024
For casual recreational and commuter cyclists.
Participate in CPEI-sanctioned recreational events at discounted member rates.
Access to optional sport accident insurance policy for $30 covering all cycling activities for training or recreational purposes, or $110 for coverage anytime you’re on a bike.
NOT included with a Cycling for All membership:
Ability to join Cycling Clubs or participate in weekly Club Rides (requires Recreational Membership or higher).
Third-party liability insurance during CPEI-sanctioned events.
Sport accident insurance (unless you purchase one of the optional add-on insurance packages).

PEI Racing Membership

For athletes participating in local competitions.
Includes all the benefits of a Recreational Membership, PLUS:
License to participate in CPEI-sanctioned competitions.
Discounted single-event licenses in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Optional $20 insurance add-on to extend coverage to anytime you’re on a bike for training or recreational purposes, or $100 for coverage anytime you’re on a bike (see below for more information).
UCI Racing Membership
$60 U17 / $90 17+
Valid until December 31, 2024
For athletes participating in UCI-sanctioned (national/international level) competitions.
Includes all the benefits of the PEI Racing and Recreation Memberships, PLUS:
UCI License granting the ability to enter races in other provinces and countries, as well as in PEI.
Optional $20 insurance add-on to extend coverage to anytime you’re on a bike for training or recreational purposes, or $100 for coverage anytime you’re on a bike (see below for more information).
Member Insurance Benefits
All Cycling PEI memberships (with the exception of Cycling for All memberships) come with automatic enrollment in the nationwide collective insurance plan to which Cycling PEI belongs. Benefits include:
Third-party liability insurance up to $10 million (with a $1000 deductible) during your participation in CPEI-sanctioned activities (events, races, club and team rides, and CPEI-sanctioned programs). This means that if, for example, you are at fault in an accidental crash with another cyclist, you are protected in the event of a lawsuit. This insurance also protects ride leaders and event organizers and volunteers who may be named in a lawsuit.
Sport Accident Insurance that has your back in case you experience an injury while participating in a CPEI-sanctioned activity. This includes up to $50,000 in payments in the event of accidental death or dismemberment, $15,000 for accidental medical expenses, $10,000 for accidental dental expenses, and up to $1500 in physiotherapy expenses.
Optional add-ons to extend your protection
ALL members (including Cycling for All members) have the option of purchasing additional Sport Accident Insurance that extends coverage to individual, non-sanctioned cycling activities.
The Training Insurance add-on ($20-30) extends the same Sport Accident coverage described above to anytime you are riding a bike for purely recreational or training purposes (not for commuting or getting from point A to point B).
The 24-hour Bike Accident coverage ($100-$110) extends the Sport Accident coverage described above to anytime you are riding a bike, for any reason.
