Cycling PEI and the Town of Cornwall are pleased to once again partner on a HopOn kids cycling course for kids aged 6-13 from May 31 to June 21 at Cornwall Town Hall.
What is HopOn? HopOn is a games-based program meant to introduce kids to cycling in a fun, safe, and engaging environment with NCCP-trained coaches. Learn more at www.cyclingpei.org/hopon.
The program will be taking place on the following Saturday mornings from 9am to 10:00am:
May 31st
June 7
June 14
June 21
HopOn is designed for kids who already know how to ride without training wheels and wish to advance their bicycle skills. Your child should be able to pedal for a minimum of 60 pedal strokes without stopping in order to be ready for HopOn.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own mountain bikes if they have them; Cycling PEI will also have a number of bikes to lend those who need a bike.
The program will focus on helping students improve their fundamental cycling skills through games and rides in the area. Students will be separated into smaller groups to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all participants.
All participants will be be provided with sport accident insurance coverage during the program!
Registration cost: $30 suggested, or FREE if cost is a barrier in any way
