Cycling PEI is once again pleased to host Prince Edward Island’s 3rd Annual Terry Fox Gravel Ride of Hope - Saturday June 20, 2026 at 10am.
Now in its 3rd year, the 2026 Ride offers the opportunity to enjoy local heritage, beautiful roads and trails, and great company in support of the Terry Fox Foundation and raising funds for cancer research. We welcome riders of all levels and abilities to join us!
Multiple NEW routes (to be posted soon) will depart from the historic Sir Andrew Macphail Homestead:
CONFEDERATION TRAIL – various distances available for riders young and old, of all abilities
Follows beautiful, wooded portions of the Confederation trail
Hybrid, gravel, or mountain bike appropriate
MULTI-SURFACE – approximately 70km, for riders seeking a bigger challenge
Consists of Confederation trail, scenic heritage dirt roads, and asphalt
Gravel or mountain bike recommended (Hybrid bikes not recommended due to challenging terrain of some dirt roads)
Participants and their supporters are also invited to enjoy the Macphail Homestead’s grounds and surrounding forest trails. The Homestead’s Tea Room will be open for anyone wishing to enjoy a delicious lunch after the ride (reservations recommended by emailing macphailhomestead@gmail.com).
This event’s fundraising goal is $10,000.
