Cycling PEI Seeks Treasurer to Join our Board

Cycling PEI is looking for a Treasurer to join our Board of Directors as an executive member for a two-year term starting February 9th, 2026. This is a volunteer position—perfect for anyone who wants to build board governance & financial skills while supporting cycling initiatives across PEI.
What You’ll Do:
Attend monthly board meetings and contribute to financial decision-making
Oversee an annual budget of approximately $400,000
Use Sage Accounting cloud software
Delegate day-to-day tasks to a bookkeeper
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
Work with the Executive Director to develop annual budgets and monitor spending
Manage cash flow, receivables, payables, and deferred revenue
Prepare and present financial statements and Treasurer's Report at the Annual General Meeting
